Job Profile
- Logistic, Planning & Warehouse lead will create a feasible supply plan driven through interpreting differentiated planning strategies, satisfying customer requirements.
- Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
- Execute strategic plans to optimize supply chain efficiency, inventory management, and distribution processes.
- Coordinate with production teams to forecast demand and plan production schedules accordingly to meet customer requirements.
- Manage transportation logistics including route optimization, carrier selection, and cost negotiation to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and retail locations.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment, to maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as procurement, sales, and quality assurance to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Lead a team of planning, logistics, and warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to drive employee engagement and productivity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of supply chain operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies in all logistics and warehouse activities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in supply chain management to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Engineering or Engineering graduate, MBA Preferred
- Proven experience 4 -6 years in Demand & Supply Planning, Logistics & Warehouse operations.
- Must be familiar with ERP/SAP-MM & SD System
- Exposure in TPM and lean manufacturing would be an added advantage.
