Job Description

Food preparation: Cut, clean, and prepare fruits, vegetables, herbs, and salad items
Cooking: Cook foods like eggs, potatoes, bacon, pasta, and vegetables
Food presentation: Ensure food is served at the correct temperature, taste, and visual appeal
Sanitation: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area
Stock control: Monitor stock movement, requisition items, and accept and store deliveries
Training: Educate and guide junior chefs
Menu development: Assist chefs in designing the restaurant’s menu
Communication: Communicate with other cooks, wait staff, and supervisors
